the Axis of Perdition

This is one of those bands that turned my ear on it's ear: a conflagration of two fellows in a basement churning out evil tones and gurgling blasts centered on destruction, building up these huge artifices only to break them down into pieces as we watch. Axis of Perdition is almost a spectator sport. They've chewed up Death and Black Metal in much the same way as countrymen Anaal Nathrakh have, but the end-result is so stultifyingly different it beggars the question: what the fuck is in the water in the UK that allows this sort of thing to perpetuate? I'd guess it's loads of heavy metals and industrial by-products. That's the only way I can explain the existence of this band.

Get it.
